Service description
Haeckel is a genomic intelligence platform that analyzes user-uploaded DNA data to surface ancestry, health, trait, pharmacogenomic, nutrigenomic, and evolutionary insights through an AI-powered conversational interface and visualizations. All analysis is statistical and non-clinical.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use Haeckel. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when you sign up and to keep it current.
Your data, your responsibility
You retain ownership of the genomic data you upload. You represent that you have the right to upload the data and that, where the data belongs to or describes another identifiable person, you have their explicit informed consent. You agree not to use Haeckel for discriminatory purposes or for any unlawful activity.
Non-clinical use
Haeckel is not a medical device and does not provide clinical diagnoses, prescriptions, or treatment plans. All outputs are educational and informational. Decisions about medications, procedures, or therapies must be made with a qualified healthcare professional. Haeckel is not a substitute for clinical genetic counseling.
AI-generated content
Mirror and other AI-assisted features may use language models from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or xAI, plus OpenAI text-embedding-3-small for embeddings, to generate explanations and recommendations. The provider depends on your model and compute-source selection. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. Treat AI responses as a starting point, not a final answer.
Paid plans, prices, and billing cadence
If paid billing launches, the configured pre-tax prices are: Plus at USD $19 each month or USD $190 charged upfront every 12 months; Pro at USD $49 each month or USD $490 charged upfront every 12 months; and Ultra at USD $99 each month or USD $990 charged upfront every 12 months. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of their selected billing period and charge the same listed USD amount until canceled. Whop hosts checkout and displays the selected plan, cadence, subtotal, and any applicable tax before purchase. Promotions and partial-price checkout are not part of this launch configuration.
Cancellation and renewal
A cancellation requested through Haeckel Billing is sent to Whop and scheduled for the end of the current paid billing period. Access continues through that period; once Whop confirms that the membership ended, the account moves to Free and unused subscription-included credits expire. The current product flow does not issue an automatic mid-period prorated credit or refund. Any mandatory cooling-off, earlier termination, proration, or refund right under applicable law still applies and must be reflected in the final approved policy.
Included credits and extra-usage packs
Plus includes 2,000 managed-compute credits per monthly payment, or 24,000 credits granted upfront with the USD $190 annual payment. Pro includes 5,000 credits per monthly payment, or 60,000 credits granted upfront with the USD $490 annual payment. Ultra includes 10,000 credits per monthly payment, or 120,000 credits granted upfront with the USD $990 annual payment. Unused included credits expire when the paid period renews or the membership ends. Active Plus, Pro and Ultra members may make one-time purchases of 1,000 credits for USD $10, 5,000 for USD $50, or 10,000 for USD $100, before applicable tax. Purchased credits carry forward until used, including after plan renewal or cancellation, while the Haeckel account remains active. A completed refund or lost payment dispute may revoke unused or reserved credits associated with that payment. The current product uses credits to meter supported Haeckel-managed AI and compute.
Refund policy pending approval
This draft does not set refund eligibility, a request window, or exclusions. Haeckel/Heru, as the service supplier, must publish its own final refund policy before paid launch. Whop or a payment network may also process or require a refund or reversal for fraud, processing error, applicable law, or card-network rules. If a refund or chargeback completes, unused or reserved credits tied to that payment may be revoked. Mandatory consumer rights prevail.
Paid-launch legal blocker
PAID BILLING MUST REMAIN DISABLED. Before approval, counsel and the business owner must replace this paragraph with the final refund eligibility, request window, exclusions, method, cooling-off and proration rules; credit expiration and transferability rules; tax and price-change disclosures; contracting legal entity and address; governing law, forum, and jurisdiction-specific consumer notices. This draft neither creates nor denies a refund right; mandatory law controls.
Intellectual property
You retain ownership of your raw genomic data and any content you author. Haeckel retains all rights to the platform, the analysis pipeline, the visualizations, and the underlying code. Insights generated for you are licensed for your personal, non-commercial use.
Limitation of liability
Haeckel is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Haeckel and Heru Genomics are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on platform output. Aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding any claim.
Termination
You may request account deletion from Settings. Before deleting any local data, Haeckel must confirm that any Whop membership is terminal and that no hosted checkout remains actionable or unresolved. If provider or checkout safety cannot be confirmed, deletion is temporarily blocked and the account and data remain intact for retry after billing reconciliation. Once deletion completes, associated genomic files, results, and embeddings are removed from production systems within 30 days. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that pose a security risk to other users.
